After a couple of internships at Microsoft, I joined Meta for an internship at their London office. I was the youngest design intern there as well.
This was an extremely fast-paced internship, and we ended up shipping 13 projects in the span of three months. My main focus was working on Facebook Pages and giving brands the ability to bulk create them, while also preventing misuse and spam at scale.
The rest of the projects I worked on were all focused on the Facebook Ads Manager, and I worked across design, engineering, and other functions to bring ideas to life all the way from prototyping to shipping them live.
During my time at Meta, the company crossed 2 billion users, and I was glad to be a small part of that journey.
Loved London and its quaint alleyways. Hope to be back someday. :)
